Pacific Rental Solutions, Inc. (PRS) Tape Backup Services

PRS provides enterprise-class, automated tape backup services for a monthly fee. This service offers the following features:

Veritas Backup Exec includes an open file agent that facilitates (but does not guarantee) the backup of open files. This agent is enabled by default on each server being backed up.
Tape backup services are available for servers running Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
Both standard and user-customized backup schedules are available
Both full and incremental backup methods are supported, and may be mixed within the same backup schedule.
Special options are available for high-volume applications including a dedicated tape drive exclusively for your use.
PRS provides off-site storage and rotation of tapes according to a standard or custom schedule. Tapes are picked up weekly and stored in a secure facility located offsite.
File restore services are included in the event of an accidental file erasure or the loss of files due to a hardware or software failure.
Extra backup tape sets are available by request for $40 per tape + T&M

Standard Plan "A":

All files in all directories are backed up. A Full backup is performed once a week between 10 pm Friday night and 3 am Monday morning, Pacific Time. Cumulative-incremental backups (all files that have changed since the last Full backup) are performed daily on Monday night thru Friday night between 10 pm and 3 am, Pacific Time. Other backup windows may also be specified, subject to availability. Data on each weekly Full backup tape is retained for one month. One weekly full backup tape is rotated to off-site storage each week. Selective file restores, when requested by the customer, are included in this plan
Up to 10 GB: Actual total file size of full backup
Setup fee: $200
Monthly fee: $59

Standard Plan "B":

Full backups are performed daily on Monday night thru Friday night between 10 pm and 3 am, Pacific Time. Other backup windows may also be specified, subject to availability. Data on each weekly Full backup tape is retained for one month. One weekly full backup tape is rotated to off-site storage each week. Selective file restores, when requested by the customer, are included in this plan
Up to 10 GB: Actual total file size of full backup
Setup fee: $200
Monthly fee: $129

Custom backup plans can be created. Almost any backup need can be accommodated.
